Commercial Sales Manager

A leading agriculture company is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager with experience in FMCG’s and is willing to work on a largely commission basis.

Main Tasks

  • Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programs.
  • Ensure activities are in accordance with the developed sales objectives.
  • Plan and implement sales programs for one or more of the company’s product line.
  • Maintain contact with key markets by visiting and investigating the operations and local conditions.
  • Evaluate and provide analysis to management for new products and international market opportunities.
  • Manage complex distribution network.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in a sales/marketing management position, preferably of fast moving consumer goods.
  • Driver’s License with at least 2 years driving experience.
  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Sales and Marketing or closely related field.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and concepts in sales and marketing.
  • Must be prepared to travel.
  • Must practice discretion and professionalism.
  • Computer Literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise, relevant, timely reports.
  • Exhibit excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task.
